Beautiful Desaru

Actually I didn’t plan to go to Desaru. I already applied my leave around 3 weeks before. My friend and I plan to go to somewhere else (of course in Malaysia.hihi) that we never been before. Many places crossed our mind such as Redang, Cherating but because of some places closed due to monsoon, we decided to go to somewhere else that do have beach and have bus to reach there.

One day before our holiday, we decided to go to Desaru, Johore. With a minimal information regarding that place, we take a challenge to go there by our own. We take bus from Terminal Bus Selatan straight away to Bandar Penawar. From Bandar Penawar, it only takes 10 minutes to our hotel, Pulai Desaru Beach Resort And Spa. Its really really tired day but once we step in to the hotel, all our tiredness dissappear with the wind..haha..

Below is some picture of hotel lobby. The hotel is so beautiful, clean and cozy.. (feel like want to repeat my holiday…hihi)

This resort is soo quiet like only we both in here. But I think it is good and we seriously can enjoy ourself here. We booked for 2 nights with complimentary breakfast. The hotel room is so big and this is my 2nd best hotel i’ve ever been(1st best hotel is Rosa Pasadena, Cameron Highlands). Even my room is not beach-viewed room, but it is still the best!

On 3rd day at Desaru, we decided to go back to Kuala Lumpur from Johore Bahru. I’m really frustated because didn’t bring my passport, if not maybe we can continue our journey to Singapore. 😦

Obsession towards Cameron Highlands (^^)

My first visit to Cameron Highlands when I was 13 followed my school trip. During that time, I am not really enjoyed myself, might be because it is school trip and we tight to schedule.

On June 2010, is my first holiday to Cameron Highlands on my own. Starting that time, I keep travelling there with my best friend when we both on leave. Thank God my best friend love this place as well. On 2011, if i’m not mistaken,  I go there almost 8 times! That’s why I named this entry ‘Obsession towards Cameron Highlands’ because i am really obsess with this place.

Pic above : View of Sungei Palas Tea and Plantation Centre in Cameron Highlands. From there, you can view a big tea plantation and its always makes me excited of this place.

image

On top of the plantation centre, have Boh Cafe. You can try many flavours of tea and served in hot or cold beverages.

They also sell Strawberry Tart, sandwiches and cakes. With the windy air with cold weather, your tea time will be a great moment ever. 🙂

Another place of interest in Cameron Highlands is Pasar Malam (night market). Its not every night have night market. Only on weekend (Friday night to Saturday night) and everyday on school holiday.

It is not big different between ordinary night market in my place, but this night market sell strawberries (the one with chocolate is the best!), Cameron Highlands sweet corn, Cameron Highlands souviners (like fridge magnet, pillow, accessories with strawberries and etc) and many more..

Just a little bit info, Cameron Highlands is situated in Pahang state of Malaysia. From Kuala Lumpur, it takes approximately 4 hours to reach there. Using PLUS Highway, you can choose whether want to use Simpang Pulai exit or Tapah exit. But Tapah exit its a bit narrow road.

Despite of feel dizzy on journey to reach Cameron, I promised that you would in love with beautiful greenery view of hills and tea plantation and also cold weather over there. During day time, the temperature is around 20 degree celcius and on night, the temperature will drop to 18 degree celcius or even more. For more details of the weather, just log on to http://www.weather-forecast.com/Cameron-Highlands

Actually I have a lots of picture of Cameron. But because having some technical issue (haha), only this picture i have to shared.

Thats all for now. I will share another experience on next entry.

Love. XOXO
